Ingredients:

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

1 garlic clove, minced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or ghee
  • 1 small tomato, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala(optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 cups water or chicken broth
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the chicken:
    • Heat the olive oil or ghee in a pan over medium heat.
    • Add chopped onions and garlic, and sauté until softened.
    • Add the chopped chicken pieces, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and garam masala. Stir and cook until the chicken turns golden and is fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes).
    • Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften, creating a bit of sauce. Season with salt and pepper.
